Delete your Readuet account

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Readuet ("Readuet", "we", "us") is a read-while-you-listen reading app. You can delete your Readuet account and its associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it. If you only want to stop using Readuet for a while, signing out leaves your library and vocabulary untouched — and if you only want to remove some of your data, see Delete your data instead.

Deleting from within the app

  1. Open Readuet and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to SettingsAccount.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Read the summary, then confirm by typing your account's email address.

You will be signed out as soon as the deletion completes. If a book of yours is still being processed, the app will ask you to try again in a few minutes — deleting mid-processing would leave the job half-finished.

Deleting by email

If you can no longer sign in, or you do not have the app installed, email support@readuet.com from the address your account uses and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes:

Books that no other user has in their library are deleted outright, together with their uploaded files and all generated audio, text and alignment data.

What is kept, and why

Subscriptions

Deleting your Readuet account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so you must cancel yours in your App Store or Google Play account settings — before deleting, if you want to be certain. If you later sign up again, use Restore purchases to reattach an active subscription to your new account.
