Readuet ("Readuet", "we", "us") is a read-while-you-listen reading app. You can delete individual pieces of your data — a book, your reading position, your reader-sync credentials — without deleting your account. This page explains how, and exactly what each action removes.
Deleted: the book leaves your library, along with your reading position and downloaded copy of it. The uploaded ebook and audiobook files, and everything generated from them (aligned text, timings, translations), are deleted outright as soon as no other user has that book. Kept: if another user also has the same book, the shared processed copy stays available to them; your access, your position and your link to it are gone. Words you saved while reading it remain in your vocabulary, because they belong to the language, not the book.
Deleted: your KOReader sync key and the record of which e-reader documents map to which books.
Deleted: signing out or turning off notifications removes this device's push registration from our servers.
Some data has no in-app delete button — saved vocabulary words and review history can be edited in the app but not individually removed. Email support@readuet.com from the address your account uses, saying what you would like deleted. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Crash reports and server logs identify accounts only by an opaque internal id, never by your email address, and are deleted automatically no later than 90 days after they are recorded — you do not need to request this.
